This is where we get real about weight loss. My husband and I have decided that its time to live for our kids; and for our health. We have spent the last 10 years together eating what we want and paying for a Gym that we NEVER use.
NOW it’s time to start our weight loss and healthy life journey.
My husband was diagnosed with gluten intolerance in January, and my son is starting to show signs of dairy intolerance. With that being said this is something that has to happen weather we are ready for it to or not. While the Dairy free life style isn’t going to be hard, I am a girl who was raised on fried Chicken and Biscuits and gravy, so Gluten Free is going to be life changing.
Luckely my mother-in-law has had Celica’s for 10+ years so I already know most of the best GF brands. (Look for my post on GF products)
The BIG REVEAL!
Here are our before photos! We both have “let it go” since we got married and we are hoping to get back to healthy. NOT skinny but HEALTHY! So I am going to do something Crazy, I’m going to talk about MY WEIGHT. Right now I weigh 238.6 Lbs. My Husband Weighs 261Lbs.
I can’t help but remind, not only my self, BUT EVERYONE who is reading, this is NOT about body image for either of us we want to be HEALTH LONG TERM. I love my husband, no matter what he looks like, and he would tell you the same thing about me.
Most of the men in my husbands family have MAJOR heart issues and pass away before they are 65. My mother had cancer early in her life and died before she was 60. Neither of us want to do that to our children; that’s why I said that we are going to live for our kids.
So watch for my post on our meal plans and watch for updates on our weight loss Journey and life style changes.
And Now I can only hope that we use the gym we’ve been paying for.
