Welcome to Crafting When Your Board 101. On days that the kids have School, the Hubby has work, and I have a random day off, I’m either watching a Hallmark movie marathon while doing laundry or I’m finding some new craft todo! This is just one rainy day off work!
Easter is just over a month away so its time to start decorating! If I was leave it up to my IRISH hubby our house would be ALL GREEN until after St. Patrick’s day, but EASTER is my FAVORIATE Holiday and the decorating always begins early!
What you will need!
OK, so as you know DOLLAR TREE and HOBBY LOBBY are my obsessions and that is where I got most of the stuff for this craft.
DOLLAR TREE
-“Cross” wire wreath
-Pink and Blue Ribbon
HOBBY LOBBY
-Purple Mesh
-Colored Mesh
-Easter Egg Ribbon
THING I HAD
-Scissors
-Zip Ties
-Wire Cutters
-Cutting board with measurements
First:
Cut your Mesh at 10 inches each, about 20 pieces of each color.
Second:
Fold the piece of mesh from one corner to the other.
Third:
Gather the mesh from the top peak to the bottom fold and pinch the fold to make what looks like bunny ears.
Fourth:
Place Zip tie around middle wires on cross, attach mesh to wreath with zip tie pulling tightly to ensure that the mesh wont fall or move.
Fifth:
Cut off extra zip tie to keep a clean look. Continue adding more mesh alternating colors.
Last:
Add a Bow in the middle to cover the extra area. Hang on the door, and enjoy.
AND THEN
Make 10 more and sell them to your friends or at your next church Craft bazaar. and make a enough to cover your costs and get more items to make the next holidays wreath.
Thank you all for reading this post and I hope that it helps you make your next Easter wreath. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to leave a comment I will answer them as soon as I can!
Enjoy your day and I hope you can make it all make sense.
